You have most likely heard/seen media reports that the care sector is struggling and yes this is true, but it is also putting a very negative spin on the rewarding side of this role. Staffing is a significant issue in the sector and that is because the appealing side of care has been lost along the way. People outside of this sector look at working in care and all they see is negativity. . This is contributing to the challenges within the sector, in turn, it puts so much more pressure on the incredible workforce that are already here. We want to promote that yes care is hard and it isn’t as easy as it can be perceived, at times, but the rewarding aspect of working in this role is so much more! As a company its very difficult to see this happening as we appreciate our staff wholly..

We Believe Smiling At Someone Is Sweet, But Making Someone Smile Is Better. We have seen it ourselves; people love working in care. We have staff that have been with us for many years. We have staff that have retired but want to give back to someone that once looked after them. We also have staff that LOVE being the reason someone smiles. We have also had staff that have left us and then returned, because they missed sharing their kindness. There are so many reasons other than pay that staff work in this role, one of the biggest, is because they love being a part of someone else’s life. A carer once told us “I tried working in a warehouse for more pay, but while I was there, I couldn’t stop thinking about coming back, and making the service users smile” She also added that “nothing can top the warm feeling you get by Delivering Care To Someone That Once Cared For Us”. This is what we want people to see and hear.
